Super Tuscans are IGT wines from Tuscany that broke with DOCG tradition by incorporating international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah alongside Sangiovese. Pioneered by producers including Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Tignanello, they represent some of Italy's most collectable and ambitious wines.
