The 2022 Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé Les Amoureuses is one of Burgundy’s most coveted Premier Cru Pinot Noirs, from a vineyard widely regarded as being of near-Grand Cru quality. De Vogüé owns approximately 0.56 hectares in Les Amoureuses, although close to 0.20 hectares were undergoing replanting in 2022, making production particularly limited.
The 2022 vintage combines beautiful ripeness with freshness and mineral precision. Aromas of cherry, raspberry and plum mingle with rose petals, violets and warm spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied yet remarkably graceful, with pure red and black fruit, powder-fine tannins and a silky texture leading into a long, saline finish. The wine received 93–95 points from Wine Advocate, 94–96 from Vinous and 95 from Burghound.
