The vineyard’s fine Maslin sands, underlying ironstone and cooling south-westerly sea breezes contribute perfume and structure. Expect lifted red fruits and citrus with delicate florals, blood orange and subtle savoury spice, giving the wine a fresh yet complex aromatic profile.
On the palate, it is vibrant and finely textured with bright acidity, juicy fruit and a subtle saline character. Citrus and red-fruit flavours are complemented by savoury spice and gentle phenolic grip, creating good shape and tension through a dry, refreshing and persistent finish.
