The 2023 MMAD Vineyard Grenache is a beautifully refined expression of Blewitt Springs, made from exceptionally old Grenache vines planted in 1939. The cool, late 2023 vintage has produced a wine of remarkable freshness, concentration and energy, with the sandy Maslin soils and underlying ironstone contributing both perfume and structure. Mostly destemmed fruit was fermented in wood and concrete before maturation in large, old French oak, allowing the character of the vineyard and vintage to remain front and centre.
