Graci Etna Rosso Quota 1000 Barbabecchi 2019 is a distinctive red wine from the Etna region of Sicily, Italy. Sourced from an old ungrafted Nerello Mascalese vineyard planted at about 1,000 m above sea level on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, this wine showcases the expressive minerality and bright acidity typical of the area’s high‑elevation terroir.
Harvested late in the season (typically early November), the grapes undergo traditional red fermentation with long skin contact (about 25 - 30 days) and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures extensively - roughly 24 months in large oak casks followed by around 12 months in bottle - resulting in a refined, structured red with both elegance and depth.
