Dos Maderas is a Caribbean rum producer based in Jerez, Spain, where rums distilled in the Caribbean are shipped to the Williams & Humbert bodegas for extended aging and finishing in sherry casks. This unique "double aging" process — first in the Caribbean, then in Sherry casks in Jerez — gives the rums their distinctive richness, dried fruit, and spice character. The PX 5+5 expression spends five years aging before a further five years finishing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in a deeply complex, sweet, and aromatic rum.
