The 2023 Raoul Gautherin Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir is a refined Chardonnay from one of Chablis’s renowned Grand Cru climats. The nose shows lemon, white peach and pear with delicate white flowers, chalky minerality and subtle saline notes.
On the palate, it is concentrated yet precise, with vibrant acidity and a fine, textured structure supporting citrus and orchard fruit. Stony minerality adds definition to the long, dry and persistent finish.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Chardonnay drinkers seeking a structured, mineral-driven Grand Cru Chablis. Best enjoyed from 2027–2040. Serve chilled with rock lobster, seared scallops with brown butter, roast turbot or chicken with morel mushrooms.
