2022 Domaine Benoit Badoz Trousseau "Marnes Rouges" comes from the historic vineyards of the Jura in eastern France. Produced by the long-established family estate Domaine Benoit Badoz, this wine is made from 100% Trousseau, one of the traditional red grape varieties native to the Jura region.
The wine opens with expressive aromas of raspberry, cherry and cranberry, layered with subtle notes of herbs, spice and forest floor. On the palate it is vibrant and elegant, showing fresh red fruit, bright acidity and fine tannins, supported by earthy minerality from the red marl soils ("Marnes Rouges") that give the wine its name.
