Quartz Reef Pinot Gris 2024 is a biodynamically grown, expressive cool‑climate white wine from the Bendigo sub‑region of Central Otago. It opens with lifted aromas of ripe nectarine, lemon zest, wild herbs, and white florals, leading to a vibrant palate of juicy pear, soft citrus, and delicate spice. Elegant and finely structured, the wine offers vibrant acidity and a lingering mineral finish with excellent balance and poise, reflecting both terroir and purity. Many critics highlight its crisp, dry style with textural complexity and age‑worthy potential.
Savoury and complex; crisp apple and pear fruit layered with crème fraîche, almond and honey. The palate builds in intensity so whilst there is plenty of flavour, the thread of mineral acidity keeps everything tightly bound together.
