DOMAINE ROSTAING

Domaine Rostaing is one of the most respected producers in the Northern Rhône, located in Ampuis within the prestigious Côte-Rôtie appellation. The estate was founded in 1971 by René Rostaing, beginning with a small 1.5-hectare holding that included prized parcels in Côte Blonde and La Landonne.

Today, Domaine Rostaing comprises over 7 hectares of exceptional vineyard sites in Côte-Rôtie, including La Landonne, Côte Blonde, La Viallière, and Côte Brune, along with plots in Condrieu and the Languedoc.

Domaine Rostaing produces several celebrated cuvées that capture the distinct nuances of Côte-Rôtie’s varied terroirs. The Côte-Rôtie Ampodium is a blend from 13 different vineyard parcels and is the domaine’s most accessible and classically styled wine. Single-vineyard bottlings include La Landonne, a powerful and age-worthy wine; Côte Blonde, known for its elegance and aromatic finesse; and La Viallière, a newer expression showcasing a different facet of the appellation. The estate also crafts a refined white wine, Condrieu La Bonnette, made from Viognier and characterized by floral and stone fruit notes. Additionally, from their Languedoc estate, Puech Noble, Rostaing produces both red and white wines on limestone soils near Nîmes.

With their balance, depth, and precision, Domaine Rostaing’s wines are highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts alike for their ability to age gracefully and express the finest qualities of Northern Rhône terroir.
