The 2022 Barringwood Graziers Pinot Noir is a cool-climate Tasmanian Pinot Noir from Barringwood’s vineyard in north-west Tasmania. The site’s cool winds, volcanic soils and long growing season support slow ripening and natural acidity. The wine shows bright red cherry and plum with wildflowers, savoury spice and subtle earthy notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, with juicy red fruit, silky tannins and vibrant Tasmanian acidity. Savoury and mineral notes add complexity, leading to a fresh, persistent finish. The 2022 Graziers Pinot Noir was named Tasmania’s Best Red Wine at the Royal Hobart Wine Show.
