Sullivans Cove French Oak Ex-Chardonnay is a Tasmanian single malt whisky matured for 7 years and 7 months in a French oak ex-Chardonnay cask. The nose is rich with blackberry, strawberry jam, plum and dates, layered with rose petals, cinnamon, chocolate and liquorice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, creamy and velvety with rum and raisin, pineapple, peach, mandarin and Turkish delight, followed by dark caramel, butterscotch and sweet oak. The finish is long and generous with hazelnut, praline, currants and raspberry notes.
