A vibrant Italian-inspired blend from Bryan Martin at Ravensworth, combining the juicy fruit and bright acidity of Barbera with the savoury tannin and structure of Nebbiolo. The 2025 release is made from 85% Barbera and 15% Nebbiolo grown on clay and shale soils in Hilltops. The nose shows red cherry, mulberry and raspberry alongside dried herbs, spice and subtle earthy notes. There’s a lightly rustic, savoury edge that gives the wine plenty of character without losing its easy-drinking appeal.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied, juicy and energetic with bright acidity, soft red fruits and gentle Nebbiolo tannins carrying through the finish. Fresh, crunchy and highly drinkable, with a slightly savoury, Italian-style feel that works beautifully with food.
