A vibrant, lo-fi take on Nebbiolo from Pat Underwood, sourced from iron-rich Colbinabbin vineyards in Heathcote. Made with minimal intervention and a mix of early-picked and skin-fermented parcels, the wine focuses on perfume, freshness and pure drinkability rather than heavy Nebbiolo structure. The nose shows rose petal, raspberry, strawberry and blood orange alongside rosemary, spice and subtle earthy herbs. Bright, lifted and highly aromatic, with plenty of crunchy red-fruit energy.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with lively acidity, fine pithy tannins and juicy red berry fruit. Fresh, slinky and energetic, with Nebbiolo grip balanced by a playful “super juicy” style that keeps it dangerously drinkable.

A seriously fun modern Victorian Nebbiolo — somewhere between Langhe rosso, natural wine and chillable red energy. Fragrant, crunchy and best served slightly chilled with pizza, charcuterie, mushroom dishes or casual shared food. Drink now through 2031+.
