The 2025 Havilah Pinot Nouveau is Ricky Evans’ playful, early-drinking take on Pinot Noir, sourced primarily from the Lloyd Vineyard in Rowella, Tasmania. Made under the experimental Havilah label, the wine is designed to be bright, crunchy and effortlessly drinkable, with whole-berry fermentation and a short time on skins before maturation in older barrels.
The nose shows fresh raspberry, red cherry and wild strawberry with lifted floral notes and a touch of spice. Light-bodied and vibrant, the palate delivers juicy red fruits, soft tannins and lively acidity, finishing fresh and savoury. A small addition of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris adds extra energy and texture, making this a wine that is best served with a slight chill.

A seriously fun "fridge red" that captures the modern Tasmanian style perfectly. Bright, juicy and dangerously easy to drink, it's ideal with charcuterie, pizza, grilled sausages, roast chicken or a casual summer lunch. Drink young over the next 1–3 years while its freshness and vibrancy are at their peak.
