The 2025 Felton Road Block 6 Chardonnay is a generous yet finely controlled single-vineyard Chardonnay from the north-facing Block 6 parcel of the Elms Vineyard in Bannockburn. Mature, biodynamically farmed vines produce expressive aromas of white peach, apricot, Williams pear and mandarin, layered with citrus blossom, jasmine, flint and crushed stone.
The palate is broad and textural, offering succulent peach, nectarine and yellow apple supported by lively acidity and a distinctive mineral freshness. Subtle notes of brioche, roasted hazelnut and spice add complexity without overwhelming the fruit. A saline edge brings focus to the long, seamless finish. Compared with the tighter Block 2, Block 6 is more floral, rounded and immediately expressive.
