The 2024 Voyager Estate Coastal Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from certified organic vineyards in the Stevens Valley, close to the Margaret River coastline. Created as a more approachable expression of Voyager’s renowned Cabernet program, the wine benefits from the warm, dry 2024 season, which delivered excellent fruit intensity, vibrancy and fine tannin structure. Fermentation as whole berries and maturation in French oak and concrete preserve both freshness and regional character.
The nose shows dark berries, mulberry, cassis and bay leaf, with hints of juniper, eucalyptus and subtle spice. Bright and youthful on the palate, it combines juicy dark fruit with fresh acidity, fine chalky tannins and a savoury finish. Tim Shand describes it as a vibrant, fruit-forward Cabernet, and the wine delivers impressive balance and drinkability while remaining unmistakably Margaret River.
