The 2024 Thomas Wines Synergy Shiraz is a blend of fruit from several old-vine Hunter Valley vineyards, including the McKelvey Vineyard and selected “declassified” barrels from Andrew Thomas’ acclaimed single-vineyard wines. Produced with the same meticulous approach as the flagship releases, the wine delivers exceptional value while showcasing the purity and regional character that have made Thomas Wines a benchmark producer of Hunter Valley Shiraz.
The nose offers blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry and blue fruits layered with pepper, spice and subtle oak. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, the palate is juicy and vibrant, with soft tannins, fresh acidity and notes of chocolate, cracked pepper and savoury spice carrying through a long, approachable finish. Toni Paterson MW awarded the wine 93 points, describing it as youthful, flavour-packed and outstanding value.

One of Australia’s best-value premium Shiraz releases. Fresh, polished and incredibly drinkable, it pairs perfectly with barbecue meats, burgers, pizza, roast lamb and chargrilled vegetables. Delicious now, but with enough structure to cellar comfortably through 2030–2032.
