A mild season in Geelong. Unsettled weather at flowering set small crops. A warm and dry summer led to grapes with full fla vour, high concentration, yet retaining good acidity.
It seems to deliver year in and year out. It's the fine acid backbone driving through the stone fruit, citrus and honeycomb flavours, the hint of flint and cedary oak, all savoury and adding shape to the palate. It's refreshing, it offers just the right amount of complexity yet remains such a good drink for today. - 95 points, Jane Faulkner
