The 2024 Domaine Lignier-Michelot Morey-Saint-Denis Vieilles Vignes is a concentrated yet refined Pinot Noir assembled from three old-vine parcels. It opens with red cherry, crushed strawberry and blackberry, accompanied by violet, freshly turned earth, herbal tea and subtle whole-bunch spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and focused, with supple dark fruit and a smooth, velvety texture. Fresh acidity provides definition, while firm, compact tannins and savoury stem-derived notes bring the structure associated with Morey-Saint-Denis. The finish is persistent, mineral and gently rustic.
