The 2024 Beautiful Isle Peacock Pinot Noir is a vibrant cool-climate Pinot Noir from Tasmania’s Tamar Valley, sourced from a blend of older and younger vineyards near the Tamar River. Produced by David Feldheim under the Beautiful Isle label, the wine reflects the region’s long, cool growing season and gentle winemaking approach, with a small portion of whole bunches and maturation in French oak adding complexity and structure.
The nose shows violet, rose petal, wild strawberry and cherry, with hints of spice and earth. Silky and approachable on the palate, it delivers bright red berry fruit, fine tannins and fresh acidity, finishing savoury and persistent.
