The 2023 Stanton & Killeen Jack’s Block Shiraz is a distinguished Rutherglen red from century-old Shiraz vines planted in 1921. The nose shows blackcurrant, dark berries and violets with baking spice and subtle cocoa notes.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and finely structured, with fresh acidity, fine tannins and layers of dark fruit, savoury spice and gentle oak. The finish is long and persistent, with a refined balance between fruit and structure.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Shiraz drinkers and collectors seeking an elegant expression of old-vine Rutherglen Shiraz. Best enjoyed from 2027–2038. Pair with slow-braised beef cheek, roast lamb with rosemary, venison with pepper jus or porcini and truffle pasta.
