The 2023 Pavelot Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Dominodes Magnum (1500ml) is an elegant Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, showing red cherry, raspberry and cranberry with violet, dried herbs and subtle earthy spice.
On the palate, it is finely structured and layered, with bright acidity, fine tannins and flavours of red fruit, savoury herbs and gentle mineral character. The finish is dry, balanced and persistent, with the magnum format well suited to gradual development.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this magnum is an excellent choice for Burgundy collectors seeking a structured Premier Cru Pinot Noir with strong cellaring potential. Best enjoyed from 2028–2038. Pair with roast quail, duck with lentils, herb-crusted pork loin or wild mushroom tart.
