The 2023 Le C de Calon Ségur is the third wine of Château Calon Ségur from Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, made from 61% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc. The nose is bright and fruit-driven with red berries and cherry, complemented by subtle chocolate and classic savoury notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fresh acidity, supple tannins and a smooth, creamy texture. Matured for around 14 months in seasoned French oak barrels, it retains its fresh fruit character while developing gentle complexity, leading to a delicate and balanced finish.
