The 2023 Guigal Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge is a classic Rhône blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, presented in a convenient 375ml half bottle. The nose shows blackberry, dark cherry and red berries with violet, pepper and savoury spice.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with juicy dark fruit, fresh acidity and rounded, smooth tannins. Eighteen months of maturation, partly in large oak foudres, adds depth while maintaining balance and fruit purity.
