The 2023 Fowles Stone Dwellers Shiraz is a single-vineyard Strathbogie Ranges Shiraz sourced from Block 13.3 of Fowles’ Upton Run Vineyard. The nose shows ripe dark plum, mulberry and blueberry with black pepper and subtle spice, capturing the savoury, cool-climate character of the region.
On the palate, it is concentrated and textural, with dark fruit, refined tannins and fresh acidity leading to a long, peppery finish. Wild fermentation followed by 14 months in 500L oak puncheons adds structure while keeping the fruit well defined.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for those who enjoy cool-climate Australian Shiraz with dark fruit, peppery spice and balanced structure. Drinking well now with cellaring potential through 2038. Ideal with slow-cooked lamb, chargrilled beef, roast meats or mushroom dishes.
