The 2022 Massolino Barolo Magnum (1500ml) is a classic expression of Nebbiolo from Barolo in Piedmont, with much of the fruit sourced from vineyards around Serralunga d’Alba. The nose is fragrant and detailed, showing red cherry, raspberry and dried flowers alongside subtle spice, herbs and earthy notes.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine, structured tannins. Fresh red berry fruit is balanced by savoury, floral and mineral characters, leading to a long, focused finish with the structure expected of traditional Barolo.
