The 2022 Fontodi Flaccianello della Pieve is a powerful Tuscan Sangiovese showing black cherry, ripe plum and red berries with violet, dried herbs, tobacco and savoury spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with vibrant acidity, firm fine-grained tannins and concentrated dark cherry, leather, herbs and spice. The finish is long, dry and persistent.
