The 2022 Domaine Camille Thiriet Côte de Nuits-Villages La Robignotte is one of the standout wines in the domaine’s range, sourced from a tiny 0.6-hectare monopole in Corgoloin planted on rare blue marl soils. The 60-year-old vines and 40% whole-bunch fermentation give the wine remarkable depth, perfume and structure, with many critics noting it performs at a level approaching Premier Cru quality.
The nose reveals sweet cherry, red berries, peony and white pepper, while the palate is silky and concentrated with layers of raspberry, sour cherry and brown spice. Fine, powdery tannins and vibrant acidity provide structure and freshness, finishing long, elegant and beautifully balanced.
