The 2022 Capela da Quinta do Vesúvio Vintage Port is an ultra-rare, flagship expression from the Symington family, produced only in exceptional years from three of the estate’s finest micro-terroirs. Made in extremely limited quantities using traditional foot-treading in granite lagares, it represents the pinnacle of quality from Quinta do Vesúvio. The nose is deeply aromatic and complex, showing black plum, blackberry and dark cherry layered with floral notes of lavender and rockrose, alongside hints of schist, spice and herbal nuance.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and intensely structured, with a dense core of dark fruit supported by powerful, fine-grained tannins and vibrant freshness.
