2020 Shiny Wine Little Shiny Tasmania Pinot Noir
Comprised from all Pinot Noir from the Tamar Valley. This wine was processed with 20% whole bunch clusters, 4-day cold soak before inoculation. It was then pressed off skins at 1be to barrel. On full solids the wine finished ferment and matured in old French oak for 11 months. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurred in the spring. Racked to tank, blended and bottled. Lightly fined and filtered.
Super vibrant and Pinot-esque! Raspberries, bing cherry, violets and a hint of oak spice round out the nose. Nice bright acidity. Bursting with ripe cherry and lots of red fruits. Ample soft tannins complete the balance of this wine.
