2019 Domaine De La Vougeraie Terres De Famille Bourgogne Blanc

This had to be harvested quickly as maturity accelerated. It’s from vines around Chaux in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits (60%) and young vines from the Clos Blanc (40%). Slightly larger 350-litre barrels are used for the élevage; 20% are new. This is a characterful Bourgogne – playing way above its level – with exotic fruit notes, but balanced and elegant.
