The 2017 Château Grand-Puy Ducasse Pauillac is a Fifth Growth Bordeaux from Pauillac, made from 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot. The nose shows blackcurrant, black cherry and dark berries with cedar, tobacco, earthy herbs and subtle spice, giving the wine a classic Médoc profile.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied and structured, with concentrated dark fruit, fresh acidity and firm, finely shaped tannins. Around 35% new oak contributes cedar and savoury detail, while the 2017 vintage retains freshness through the finish and has developed well with bottle age.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for those who enjoy traditional Pauillac with blackcurrant fruit, cedar and structured tannins. Drinking well now with decanting, with further cellaring possible into the mid-2030s. Ideal with grilled steak, roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, duck or mature cheeses.
