The 2013 Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rosé is a prestige vintage Champagne made from 53% Pinot Noir and 47% Chardonnay, sourced entirely from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. The nose is layered with cherry, blueberry and red berries, alongside rose, violet and subtle saline notes.
On the palate, it is finely textured and precise, with delicate bubbles, bright acidity and flavours of cherry, apple and blood orange. 115 months of lees ageing brings added depth, while a low dosage of 4.4 g/L keeps the finish chalky, citrus-driven and persistent.
