The 2024 Dönnhoff Dellchen GG Riesling is a dry, single-vineyard Riesling from the Nahe, grown on the steep, south-facing Dellchen site where slate soils meet volcanic porphyry. The nose is finely detailed, showing lemon, white peach and yellow plum with wildflowers, fresh herbs and flinty mineral notes.
On the palate, it is dry, precise and concentrated with crystalline acidity and a fine, tightly woven texture. Citrus and ripe stone fruit are joined by peppery spice and pronounced saline minerality, leading to a long, focused finish. The wine spends at least six months on full lees followed by further time on fine lees, adding depth while preserving freshness.
