The nose is expressive and evolving, showing blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry, layered with graphite, tobacco, cedar and subtle spice. With age, tertiary notes of leather, forest floor and earthy complexity emerge, giving a classic mature Bordeaux profile.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a smooth, rounded texture and increasingly integrated tannins. Dark fruit, savoury herbs and spice are supported by balanced acidity, leading to a long, elegant and slightly earthy finish. The 2012 vintage is now in a prime drinking window, showing a mix of remaining fruit and developed secondary complexity.
