2017 Domaine De La Pousse D'Or Volnay Premier Cru En Caillerets

This "En Caillerets" Premier Cru is grown in a vineyard on well-drained limestone marl. The vines are cultivated without pesticides or insecticides; the winemarking process is surely the most natural in the world. The wine is matured on the lees in oak barrels for 15 months; and is neither filtered nor fined. The nose exhales vanilla notes in its youth; the complex palate is very full bodied. It is a rich, dense wine.
