Made from younger vines and carefully selected vineyard parcels, Fralu offers the aromatic character of Nebbiolo in a fresher, more accessible style compared to Barbaresco.
The 2023 vintage opens with lifted aromas of rose petal, red cherry and raspberry, layered with notes of violet, dried herbs and subtle spice. On the palate, bright red berry fruit is supported by fine tannins and lively acidity, revealing hints of cranberry, liquorice and gentle earthy complexity. The finish is elegant, fresh and beautifully balanced.
