The 2015 Yeringberg Shiraz Museum Release is a mature Yarra Valley Shiraz from one of the region’s historic family-owned estates. Released after extended bottle maturation, it shows dark cherry, plum and blackberry with layers of pepper, dried herbs, spice and earthy complexity. A small addition of Viognier brings subtle aromatic lift.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied and finely structured, with developed dark fruit, fresh acidity and silky tannins. Savoury spice, sage and pepper sit alongside mature fruit characters, leading to a long, composed finish that reflects both the vintage and its time in bottle.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is a great choice for Shiraz drinkers interested in mature, elegant Yarra Valley reds rather than heavier styles. Enjoy now with roast lamb, duck, grilled beef, mushroom dishes or aged cheeses.
