Planted to the revered Abel, Pommard and Calera Pinot Noir clones on an east-facing slope at 180 metres above sea level, the tiny 1.48-hectare vineyard delivers fruit of exceptional concentration, perfume and finesse. Handpicked, meticulously sorted and naturally fermented before maturing for 10 months in predominantly seasoned French Tronçais oak, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its remarkable purity. The nose is intensely aromatic, revealing wild blackberry, red cherry and blood orange layered with rose petals, cassia bark, five spice, potpourri and subtle forest floor complexity.
