Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Subtle cherry aromas have an overlay of toasty cedar, dried herbs, earth and spicy tobacco. Mid weighted, spicy dark cherry fruits are overwhelmed by toasty vanillin oak with subtle notions of dried herbs and earthy tobacco characters also present. Fine grained tannins with a lingering spicy vanillin oak aftertaste.
