The 2016 Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru was quite reduced on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced with good concentration, quite nutty and Meursault-like in style and sporting appreciable salinité toward the finish that fans out. Good potential, but give this a couple of years in bottle.
