Coming from vines aged between 30 and 70 years (which would be considered quite ancient in France), the Aligote vineyards are situated above 330m, with an easterly aspect, and are planted at high density. The juice is fermented in stainless steel before maturing in oak on its lees.
Citrus and white flowers predominate on the nose, and the palate shows a medium body with bright acidity, great structure, and a nice aftertaste. While it's "only" at the regional classification it's a defiantly tasty drop.
