2020 Domaine Marquis D'angerville Volnay Premier Cru

This too is super-fresh with its expressive and slightly more elegant nose of red berry coulis, discreet spice and more evident floral wisps. The delicious, intense and detailed middle weight flavors brim with minerality while the mouthfeel is a combination of muscle and refinement while flashing even more evident minerality on the impressively long and mineral-driven finish. This needs to develop better depth but if given a chance over the next 5 to 8 years, that should reasonably occur.
