2022 Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Meursault Santenots is a Premier Cru white Burgundy crafted from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from a unique site on the Volnay border that combines Meursault richness with added tension and structure. Produced biodynamically with restrained élevage, it reflects a precise and mineral-driven interpretation of this classic terroir.
The nose is refined and layered, showing pear, white peach and citrus, alongside white flowers, toasted nuts and subtle brioche notes. There is a clear mineral lift with hints of flint and slate, giving both aromatic precision and complexity.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a satiny, seamless texture and vibrant acidity. Orchard fruit, citrus and hazelnut notes are supported by a strong mineral backbone, leading to a long, precise and slightly austere finish. The 2022 vintage shows both generosity and tension, combining richness with freshness and excellent ageing potential.
