The 2023 Lethbridge Hillside Haven Pinot Noir comes from a high-elevation single vineyard near Anakie in the Moorabool Valley, planted on unique basalt-over-granite soils at 254 metres above sea level. Crafted by Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis, the wine is hand-picked, wild fermented with around 50% whole bunches and matured in French oak, capturing the perfume, mineral character and elegance that make this site one of Geelong’s hidden gems.
The nose shows red cherry, wild strawberry, dried herbs and spice, alongside savoury notes of cured meats and crushed stone. The palate is silky yet structured, with bright red fruits, fine tannins and a distinctive mineral backbone carrying through a long, refined finish. James Suckling awarded the wine 95 points, praising its balance, texture and excellent single-vineyard character.

A beautifully expressive cool-climate Pinot Noir that combines purity, savoury complexity and finesse. It pairs superbly with duck, roast pork, game birds, mushroom dishes and grilled salmon. Enjoy now with a short decant or cellar confidently through 2035 and beyond.
