The Mataro was hand picked and whole bunch pressed with no crushing to stainless steel tank to ferment. The ferment was kept cool to retain freshness and varietal character. Once ferment was complete the wine was kept on lees to add some texture.
A pale rose-gold colour in the glass. Classic strawberries and cream nose with a hint of dry earth as well. Crushed red fruits fill the mouth, there's a hint of cream and custard underneath which adds a pleasing richness. Acidity is present but drives the flow subtly to the long finish. An outstanding Rosé. - 94 points, Stuart Knox
