The 2024 Dr Loosen Graacher Himmelreich Riesling GG is a dry Mosel Riesling from one of the estate’s oldest ungrafted vineyards, with vines averaging around 130 years. Grown on multicoloured slate, it shows vineyard peach, green apple and pear with citrus, fresh herbs and deep mineral notes.
On the palate, it is dry and structured with vibrant acidity, ripe orchard fruit and a pronounced slate-driven mineral character. Twelve months on the lees adds texture and depth, while citrus and herbal notes carry through to a long, precise finish with excellent ageing potential.
