The 2021 Luna Eclipse Pinot Noir is a refined Martinborough Pinot Noir crafted from estate-grown fruit on the famed Martinborough Terrace in New Zealand. Produced from mature vineyard parcels and matured in French oak puncheons, the wine reflects the region’s cool-climate character, combining dark fruit depth with savoury complexity and fine structural detail. Low yields during the 2021 vintage contributed added concentration and intensity while retaining elegance and freshness.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with silky tannins and vibrant acidity, delivering flavours of dark cherry, plum and wild raspberry layered with baking spice, earthy minerality and subtle floral notes. Careful oak maturation and partial whole-bunch fermentation add texture and savoury complexity without overpowering the fruit.
