The Equipo Navazos I Think Manzanilla Saca March 2024 (375ml) is a beautifully intense and deeply traditional Manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, crafted by legendary sherry revivalists Equipo Navazos. Drawn en rama from a carefully selected group of casks from La Guita and bottled with only the lightest filtration after around four and a half years under flor, the wine captures the raw saline intensity and complexity of authentic old-school Manzanilla. The nose reveals preserved lemon, green olive and almond layered alongside sea spray, chamomile and savoury yeast notes, giving the wine remarkable pungency and coastal freshness.
On the palate, it is light-bodied yet incredibly textural, with piercing saline acidity, nutty complexity and a long, tangy finish. Layers of citrus peel, brine and savoury flor character are balanced by chalky minerality and a deep umami richness, finishing bone dry, vibrant and exceptionally persistent.
